JOB OVERVIEW
The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Marketing, Loyalty and Communications APAC department operations.
The main focus of this role is to assist the department leader in developing and streamlining marketing processes to increase work efficiency. Also to standardize and update marketing resources to better support internal teams and be the custodian of brand standards for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Administration
• Prepare marketing related documents for the department including Marketing Calendars, Marketing Project Tracking Reports, etc.
• Establish and maintain archive of presentations, marketing materials, APAC hotel images and communications accessible to all internal stakeholders.
• Support execution on all brand and marketing campaigns including various creative work that enhances the brand awareness, value and equity.
• Coordinate the production of marketing projects on time, on brief and on budget with attention to detail and with required approvals and financial allocations.
• Maintain and record an accurate flow of marketing budget monthly, advertising plus marketing activities reviews, prepare budget accrual forms.
• Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information• Conduct Brand Induction webinars / materials / tutorials to hotel Marcom/Graphic team/other team members
• Supporting all projects that require monthly or quarterly consolidation of marketing projects to key stakeholders.
• Support department leader in administrative work and ad hoc activities as required.
Process & Standardization
• End-to-end optimization and governance of marketing processes, overarching deficiencies in marketing infrastructure or a slow pace of execution, focus are, Process, Technology, Alignment and Workflow.
• Review existing global brand standards, develop supplementary standards for APAC with localization for Greater China
• Manage and maintain the Brand Identity Website and all content materials in terms of system, processes and project delivery
• Be the brand guardian for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and our respective hotel brands – review and approve collaterals and marketing materials from team members, hotels & partners
• Other Brand Standards, and related projects as needed
Cross-functional support
• Assist various projects by coordinating efforts between internal teams, external vendors, agencies and publishers.
• Independently manage small-scale projects including events, campaigns, advertising etc.
• Support franchise communications and consolidating content for newsletters e.g. Wyndham Check-In.
• Establish working relationship with regional / cluster marketing teams and effectively deploy any global or updated marketing / brand initiatives.
• Work closely with APAC/Global colleagues on cross-regional marketing initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organization and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Customer service focus
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Effective time management and ability to multitask and co-ordinate a number of projects simultaneously
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge/understanding of the tourism & travel industry and accommodation drivers & systems
• Demonstrated experience in a brand and marketing executive role, including co-ordination in a fast paced, diverse environment
• Good knowledge of Social Media platforms and how they can be used to create customer engagement and drive incremental revenue for programs
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
• Ability to manage agencies and partners that WHR team work with
