1、接受运行督导的领导，负责燃料、水质的质量检验和评估。
2、严格按照操作规程，带领锅炉房员工做好水质管理确保锅炉的安全运行。
3、带领锅炉房员工做好锅炉及其附属设备（包括分汽缸的阀门、供水泵水处理设备）的维护保养和年度检修工作。
4、坚守工作岗位，任何时候都不得擅自离开工作岗位，按照规定做好巡视，并做好各种运行参数的记录。
5、做好锅炉房日常维护保养工作，杜绝跑、冒、滴、漏的现象，做到文明生产。
6、不断学习新技术，提高司炉水平，做到勤检查，勤调节，保持锅炉压力稳定，做好节能工作。
7、在运行中锅炉或附属设备出现严重故障，应立即向运行督导汇报，并一起参与故障的排除。
8、每班必须排污1次，但不得在用汽高峰时排污，排污量根据炉水质分析决定。
9、水位表每班至少冲洗1次。
10、禁止闲杂人员进入锅炉房。
11、负责锅炉房的清洁卫生工作。
12、完成上级布置的任务。
