Develops and implements systems and procedure of the preventive maintenance and repair of all machines, equipment, apparatus and fixtures used in the hotel.

Co-ordinates all activities of Engineering personnel to ensure completion of projects and meeting deadlines or schedules.统一所有工程部员工的行动，保证工程的如期完成。Responsible for all training of personnel according to established procedures and standards.负责根据程序和标准对员工进行培训。Holds regular meetings with departments to review methods and procedures, plan for changes and co-ordinate special projects.召开各部门常规会议以检查运用方法和程序，计划改革以及协调特别工程。Submits to higher management periodic reports on breakdowns, repairs, operating cost, utility consumption etc. Advises and confers management on effective use of heat, light and power and proper application of repair and maintenance plans and procedures.服从上级主管部门关于损坏，维修，运行成本，公用消费等的定期报告。向上级建议，协商如何有效使用热，灯，电以及维修计划，程序的合理申请。Ensures hotel’s compliance with government requirements on records, permits, licenses, etc.确定酒店根据政府的要求用于相关记录，允许，执照等。Makes periodic inspection tours to check work progress and condition of building and equipment. Confers with outside contractors on installations and repairs, co-coordinating their work with department staff.定期巡视，检查工作进程以及建筑设备状况。与外部承包商协商安装维修工作，部门员工应协助他们的工作。Works closely with other departments on consideration of new and replacement equipment, furniture, building materials, new construction and building alterations.
